In the last quarter of 2022, the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre is arranging a series of meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions which is anticipated to draw more than 300,000 tourists. Also, for football fans, the centre is organizing a special event for 21 days in the Qatar World Cup at the latter part of this year.
Said al Shanfari, the CEO of the convention centre, said that more than 50 events will be arranged in the last quarter of this year. With over 300 representatives from Oman tourism, on September 27th and 28th, the centre is organizing the Oman Tourism Forum. For the year 2022, the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair Middle East awards will be arranged on September 29th. This will witness the centre bringing more than 1,000 participants under one roof.
From September 26 to 28, Shanfari said that two important events related to the Food and Hospitality Oman and the Oman Health Exhibition and Conference, will be held. The centre will kick off a season of events and festivals in October, aiming on technology, science, novelty as well as agricultural products, and a fashion show.
Al Nimr International Exhibition Organizers, on October 10th, will host EduTrac Oman. It’s a three-day higher education, training and career expo at the OCEC.
The centre will arrange Project Oman. It’s an international exhibition related to construction technology, infrastructure and building materials – from October 24-26.
