Southwest Airlines has introduced its online portal for business travel, Southwest Business Assist, which provides management of travel funds, extended sustainability reporting and greater account performance insights. The airline plans to expand the platform to offer self-service features for duty of care reporting in a future update.

Delta Air Lines will restart service between Japan's Haneda International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport on Oct. 30 and add Haneda-Honolulu flights beginning Dec. 1. The LA-Haneda flights will become daily on the latter date, after running three times per week from Oct. 31 through Nov. 30.

US hotel costs per night are expected to cost an average of $189 during Labor Day weekend, which is down from $193 in June, travel booking app Hopper says. Hopper noted that while hotel prices are down, airfare is up due to fuel prices and labor shortages.
