BARCELONA – Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), the largest owner of resort hotels in Southern Europe owned by funds managed by Blackstone, and the hotel management company Domes Resorts & Reserves have announced the opening of Domes Aulūs Zante – formerly known as Zante Beach hotel – following an extensive renovation.
HIP has invested nearly 13.5 million euros to upgrade and transform the property, which is managed under the Domes Aulūs pioneer concept of Domes Resorts & Reserves and will be part of Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International’s diverse and dynamic portfolio of independent hotels.
The renovation includes the refurbishment of public areas and guestrooms, to provide adventure-seeking families and wanderlust couples the ideal holiday on the most envied beachfront location of Zante. The hotel features 150 rooms, 72 of which belong to the premium category, infinity pool, upgraded restaurants (buffet and a la cate), beach bar, lounge bar, adults and family pool bars, new food-truck area as well as a new indoor & outdoor spa facility.
The Domes Aulūs is located within a Natura-protected turtle sanctuary on Zante’s longest beach, yet also just 5 km away from Zakynthos Airport. It is set among 230 acres of white-sand beaches, a verdant pine forest and the distinctive turquoise Ionian Sea. It’s the ideal resort for friends and families to disconnect from the rest of the world, and soak up Zante’s iconic landscape and charming local community. With nearby, vibrant villages close enough to walk to, and just far enough to allow for peaceful relaxation, this magical strip of beach is one of Zante’s prime locations.
Domes Aulūs Zante’s refurbishment plan was supported by Alpha Bank which provided the financing for the execution of the capital expenditure.
