Tourism experts convene at TNQ tourism conference

 

All the well-known names in tourism industry like Michael Branagh, Robert Dougan, Neale Herridge, Louis Arul, Jason Brereton, Ryan Thomas, Daniel Finch, Craig Wickham, Rod Lockwood, and Geoff Meyer along with experts from Cairns and Douglas took part at the My Queensland TNQ tourism conference. It was arranged at a local hotel to talk about several important issues all through the day.

Those issues comprised trade marketing, international destination, sustainability and events. At the conference, a Panel discussion and Q & A session were conducted as well.

The speakers were Michael Branagh is the Group executive, global marketing, Tourism and Events Queensland, Robert Dougan is the Executive general manager, strategy and research – Tourism Australia, Neale Herridge is the General manager- ATS pacific, Louis Arul is the Regional vice president Southwest Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Daniel Finch is the Wotif Group managing director, Jason Brereton is the Managing director, Oceania region, H.I.S Australia and Ryan Thomas – CEO of the Ignite travel group and many others.

In the meantime, in a boost up for the domestic tourism comprising the Douglas Shire Australian Tourism Export Council Managing Director, Peter Shelley, affirmed that the Far North will arrange a high profiled ATEC meeting at the later part of 2022.

From November 21-23, the Cairns convention centre will stage the event. Here, over 300 VIPs of the tourism industry, important figures and well-known personalities will join.
