Greece has taken all necessary actions to achieve specific commitments, despite adverse conditions prevailing because of the pandemic, the European Commission said in its 13th enhanced surveillance report released on Wednesday, according to ANA.
The report concludes that Greece has taken the necessary actions to achieve its specific commitments, despite the challenging circumstances that continue to be posed by the pandemic. The authorities delivered on specific commitments across various areas, notably as regards enhancing the efficiency of public administration, completing the administrative reorganization of the Single Pension Fund, the simplification of investment licensing in the agreed sectors, implementing wider structural reforms, particularly in digitalization, and began implementation of a Recovery and Resilience Plan.
