There are two new requirements to be aware of. You must (1) apply at least 60 days before your departure date. Also, while travelers are not required to stay in quarantine, you must (2) reserve and stay at SHA+ approved hotels on Day 1 after your arrival in Thailand, and again on Day 5 or 6, to await the results of your RT PCR tests.
In other news, a plan was approved to add several new destinations to the Sandbox Program, including Pattaya City in Bang Lamung district, the Koh Sichang and Sattahip districts in Chonburi province, as well as Koh Chang in Trat. The Sandbox Program has already been implemented in Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, Krabi and Phang Nga.
