Ruby Princess became the line’s sixth MedallionClass ship to return to service on Sunday, setting sail from the Port of San Francisco in California.
The vessel welcomed guests back onboard with a special ceremony before sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge on its way out to sea. She is currently operating a seven-night California Coast cruise, which will return to the port on November 7.
Other destinations that the vessel will visit from San Francisco include Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, and the Panama Canal on five to 15-night voyages through 2023.

Ruby Princess has nearly 900 balcony cabins, as well as features and amenities including Movies Under the Stars, Sabatini’s specialty Italian restaurant, The Sanctuary retreat for adults, and a spa.
Earlier this month, another Princess ship arrived in San Francisco for an overnight port call — Majestic Princess. It marked the first voyage to bring passengers to the city since the cruise industry shutdown in early 2020.

Currently, Princess Cruises sailings are only available to passengers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks prior to their sailing. All guests must also produce a negative, medically-observed PCR or antigen test taken within two days of embarkation
