The Oasis-class ship embarked with passengers on the first of a series of seven-night voyages around the western Mediterranean. From August to October, the vessel will take guests to Palma De Mallorca, Spain and Florence, Rome, and Naples, Italy. Aside from Barcelona, another homeport option for these cruises will be Rome.

Highlights of Harmony of the Seas include a 10-story slide called Ultimate Abyss, a zip line, FlowRider surfing simulators, over 20,000 real plants in the Central Park neighborhood, the AquaTheater, four pools and ten hot tubs, rock climbing walls, and a water park.
The vessel also includes a plethora of restaurants such as the whimsical Alice-inspired Wonderland restaurant, Jamie’s Italian, Izumi Japanese cuisine, Sabor Modern Mexican, Chops Grille steakhouse, Johnny Rockets, Park Café, and the Solarium Bistro.
Bars and lounges include the Latin lounge Boleros, Schooner Bar, the Rising Tide Bar that actually moves up and down, the robot-tended Bionic Bar, Vintages wine bar, and the English Pub.
Safety measures aboard the ship include:
- Vaccine requirement for all passengers 18 and older
- Negative test result requirement for kids and teens
- Enhanced cleaning and sanitation
- Reduced capacity
- Robust ventilation systems
Harmony of the Seas joins Jewel and Anthem of the Seas in providing European cruises this year. Jewel of the Seas is currently offering seven-night Greek Isles sailings from Cyprus, and Anthem of the Seas is sailing five to seven-night British Isles voyages roundtrip from Southampton.
