Austria Event Protocol During COVID-19

The information below refers to all important aspects of the event and tourism industry. Every 7 days the Austrian government evaluates the actual facts and figures of the COVID-19 situation and, as a consequence, adapts the rules and regulations regarding their prevention measures.

Adaptation of measures for high-risk (cluster) zones

Since September 2020 the Austrian government has been implementing a “traffic light” guiding system that informs about the epidemiological risk in each of Austria’s provinces, as well as about the possible, additional safety measures for each region. The recommended containment measures and instructions are based on the epidemiological situation of each province and are adjusted, accordingly.
