NEW DELHI – Aeroflot- Russian Airlines will start commencing two scheduled weekly flights between Delhi and Moscow from 14.th Feb 2021 under the air bubble agreement. The flights will depart every Monday and Saturday from Delhi (DEL) to Moscow (SVO).
The airline has deployed its Airbus 333 aircraft with a total seating of 293 passengers and three-class configuration – business, premium economy and economy.“We are excited to resume our (twice) weekly flight from Delhi to Moscow under the air bubble agreement. These flights are a positive step forward after Covid 19 lockdowns and restrictions. The Moscow- Delhi route is one of the most long-established and high- demand routes. With Aeroflot’s competitive advantages, passengers will get a high-quality and comfortable experience”, said Aeroflot’s India General Manager.
Scheduled international passenger services have been suspended in India since March 23 due to the coronavirus pandemic. At that time, 2 daily flights were operated by Aeroflot between Delhi and Moscow.

Aeroflot has taken several measures to ensure complete hygiene across all touchpoints. It includes cabin crew always wearing face masks and avoiding all non-essential interaction with passengers. Aircraft interiors are sanitized after every flight using approved cleaning agents.
COVID-19 Requirements for foreign passengers travelling to Russia:
Visa for all categories (including student visa) for the Indian citizens and persons who have a residence permit of Russia is resumed. All passengers will be allowed to enter Russia via air checkpoints.
- Travellers must present a certificate of a negative COVID PCR before boarding the international flight. The test must be not more than 72 hours before their time of arrival to Russia
- All foreign citizens traveling to Russia must fill up self-declaration form provided by flight attendants
COVID-19 Requirements for Russian Citizens:
- Russian citizens arriving in the Russian Federation on international flights must fill in a special form on the Unified Public Services Portal before departure
- Upload the results of the Covid-19 PCR test to the previously filled in form within three days from their arrival in the Russian Federation
- Passengers must self-isolate at their place of residence/temporary stay while waiting for the results of the Covid-19 PCR test
