DREAM&CHARME is the sole Certification body Internationally accredited by Accredia (The national accreditation body appointed by Italian Government attesting competence and independence of certification bodies and it operates under the vigilance of the Ministry of Economic Development) in accordance with the International Standard ISO17065.
DREAM&CHARME is officially accredited by Accredia to certify accommodation facilities with the signet DCA Certification (DCA: Dream&Charme Assurance) in accordance with the Standard D&C:2020.
The aim of the DCA Certification is to higher the standards of the villa rental industry, in what was previously unregulated industry. Vacation properties around the world, including hotels and privately-owned accommodation, can now obtain the respected DCA Certification providing they meet the requirements of the Standard D&C: 2020 audit physically or remotely.
The independent, competent and accredited audit guarantees certified accommodations to stand out as a whole, scoring highly in categories including: room layout, accessories and furnishings, entertainment and outdoors, in addition to technical requirements including proper maintenance of buildings.
The Standard D&C:2020 requires an assessment of accommodation by an accredited professional, it possible to conduct the audit physically or remotely (the remote assessment reduce significantly the costs of it). DREAM&CHARME has a specialised team composed of inspectors certified by accredited bodies for persons certification (in accordance with ISO17024, ISO19011 e trained on the Standard D&C:2020).
Auditors will carry out a careful, accurate and impartial analysis. At the end of the audit the Lead Auditor will prepare the audit report which will be submitted to the Certification Committee. If approved, the DCA Certification will be valid for three years from the date of issue and requires a review every 12 months.
As Passepartout Homes is now working in partnership with DREAM&CHARME, the company is offering owners of its luxury properties the opportunity to obtain the DCA certificate to guarantee guests professionality, quality and safety at a special discounted rate. According to a recent International survey, tourists will prefer in the future certified and guaranteed accommodations over unsecured and therefore "at risk" accommodations.
Advantages of certification include a guarantee to tourists that the property is legitimate and true to imagery as advertised online and in brochures, a guarantee of reliability and safety and a feature in DREAM&CHARME publications such as the Coffee Table Book TOP 100 and the DREAM&CHARME website.
