FITUR and the magazine Aire Libre organise the “26th Active Tourism Competition, FITUR 2021”

MADRID - In its aim to boost the impact and marketing of tourism products, FITUR and the magazine AIRE LIBRE are organising the “26th Active Tourism Competition FITUR 2021” that once again focuses on highlighting the highest quality active tourism proposals, within the framework of a special edition dedicated to the recovery of the tourism industry.

The competition is open for all products pertaining to tourism focusing on adventure, culture, nature, wine-gastronomy, technological development, accessibility and the environment, submitted by national and international FITUR 2021 exhibitors and co-exhibitors. Each company may submit up to three proposals, provided that they were not recipients of awards in previous editions, up to the 28 December.

As every year, the jury, comprised of end consumers, tourism professionals, media and tourism sector representatives, will take into account the originality of the idea; product presentation and image; its contribution to environmental recovery and sustainable development; the quality of the infrastructures, as well as its marketing formula and distribution channels.

On the other hand, and new this year, the winners will be decided on the 26 January 2021, and they will be notified on the next day, 27 January 2021, which will give them more time to promote their communication and impact, months before FITUR is held. As usual, the awards will be given within the framework of FITUR 2021, which this year will be held exceptionally from the 19 to 23 May, at Feria de Madrid.
