The technology company, Travel Compositor, does not stop and presents another new patent, the third one in three months: TC MBox, the Magic Box acronym, is, according to the company, the ultimate tool for cross-selling generation after a first booking or multiplying the revenue per booking.
A box that is placed on confirmation pages and is by itself a Multi Cross selling Engine that allows to offer all kinds of services around that first booking, before, during and after the contracted trip. The user can incorporate those services, after making that booking, days later, or even during the trip.
TC MBox has a model for any kind of trip:
After making a hotel booking, the customer will be able to add services such as: flights, trains, buses or ferries to the destination of the hotel booked, or any other previous hotel from the place where the flight is required. During: Transfers, Activities, Tickets and Rent a Car and after: Back home transport or services in the place of arrival of that transport. When booking flights, the MBox not only offers, as it is more or less usual in OTAs and airlines websites: transfers, rent a car, hotels, houses, flats, activities and tickets... but also a hotel or a transfer before or after the flight, or a train and a hotel plus all the ground services to reach the final destination from the airport where you fly from. For example, a passenger who flies to Rome, but whose final destination is Caserta, could add a train to Caserta, a hotel there for any nights, a car rental for excursions of a few days, some tickets or excursions, etc.
Finally, in Packages, a user could add after a booking of, for example, an Italian route, one or more pre tours and post tours with the transport between the cities and all the land services in those that are desired, offering thanks to it, unlimited combinations from that tour, saving enormous times of quotations and bookings in the distribution chain.
TC MBox will work from 6 different locations: the confirmation page of TravelC engines for Transport, Flights, Trains, Hotel, Packages and Private Tours; the user profile page, the confirmation email, the PDF of the documentation, the digital brochure and from your own CRM for pre-marketing and "on the go".
With MBox, TravelC customers will be able to multiply their digital distribution, asking for the installation of MBox in any B2B or B2C site of third parties, being them the operators of that product. This way they will be able to install boxes in websites of Hotel Chains, Airline Companies, Agency Networks, OTAs and Thematic Websites.
MBox is prepared to perform both B2B and B2C, since in B2B, if the final customer (who will only have access to the extra product) adds any service before or during the trip, from the confirmation and/or documentation sent by the agency, the agency will receive the sales confirmation, including its respective commission as if it had been performed by the agent.
And as the 19th engine of the technology, it has new features in its logic, architecture and operation, such as dynamic paging and browsing according to the customer's request, maintaining the customer's data and transfers them between bookings, collecting and updating the documentation linking the services and a specific CRM.
