Florida Wine Academy Moves Lessons Online

A Guide To Wine Certification Programs | Wine Enthusiast

Florida Wine Academy, the leading provider of wine, spirits, and sake education in Florida, has made all education services available online for those wishing to learn remotely or obtain an industry certification without leaving home.

The academy is now offering all courses, including WSET levels 1-3 in spirits, wines and sake, in addition to French Wine Scholar and Spanish Wine Scholar certifications in webinar format, where students can interact with educators virtually in real-time.

All courses are led by co-founder and Master of Wine candidate Alessandra Esteves, co-founder and Master Sake Sommelier Guilherme de Macedo, and a team of certified wine professionals. Students also have the option to purchase curated wine packs from 305 Wines, an online wine and sake shop founded by Alessandra and Guilherme, to supplement their studies. Catering to Miami’s diverse population, the WSET level 1-3 spirits and wine courses are available in Spanish, as well as the WSET level 1 in sake.

For wine enthusiasts looking to expand their knowledge through tasting, The Florida Wine Academy has also launched a series of webinars featuring prominent voices in the wine industry, such as blind tastings with Master of Wine Nick Jackson, and an upcoming  Champagne webinar with Master of Wine Essi Avellan, scheduled for July 30.  Making wine education accessible for all, those who miss their weekly educational webinars can also access recordings on Florida Wine Academy’s YouTube channel

The Florida Wine Academy has been in Miami for four years providing wine education to professionals and enthusiasts. Last year, Alessandra and Guilherme launched 305 Wines, which is celebrating its one year anniversary throughout the month of July with a dazzling promotion of 10% off all sparkling wines available on www.305wines.com.
