Hotels that grow their own share abundance
Hotels with farms and without guests to enjoy the fresh food are channeling the amenity into service -- supplying furloughed employees, running farmers' markets and contributing to pantries. "Being able to donate back has been great for staying motivated and sane during this time," says Matt Clayton, head farmer at Old Edwards Inn and Spa in Highlands, N.C.

Hyatt, American Airlines treat health workers

Hyatt Hotels Corp. is partnering with American Airlines to offer free vacations to more than 4,000 health care workers battling the outbreak. The employees work at NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, which is responsible for servicing almost 1 million local people and noted for boosting its intensive care capacity by 500% to meet demand due to the outbreak.
