Guizhou, a Chinese province is well-known for its landscape resorts and ethnic culture, on Tuesday introduced an online platform, offering intelligent travel services for visitors with big data and artificial intelligence.
The platform offers information on scenic spots, shopping centers, restaurants and hotels. Tourists will have the facility to be able to book tickets and get a QR code for verification at the places.
With the help of this platform, tourists at the same time can get access to weather related information, transportation and tour guides.
In the province, the platform is available through a mini-program on WeChat, has covered 415 tourist resorts.
Zhang Yuguang, head of the provincial department of culture and tourism, explained that the platform will assist in the incorporation of tourism resources, the management of the tourism industry and managing emergent cases.
Situated in southwestern China, Guizhou Province has plenty of tourism resources like the largest waterfall of the country, the Huangguoshu, UNESCO world heritage site – Mount Fanjingshan and a karst forest in Maolan.
