Agents can expect more support when selling Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines holidays thanks to changes in the way the company’s operations are run in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

A new trade sales structure will see the creation of dedicated single brand teams to sell the line’s Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara brands.
RCL expects the changes will offer better support to trade partners and take advantage of opportunities within the region’s growing cruise sector.

Local Managing Director of RCL Gavin Smith will continue to lead Royal Caribbean while Susan Bonner will oversee the search for a Managing Director for Celebrity Cruises in Australia and New Zealand.
She will also be putting together a new team dedicated to bringing modern luxury to local cruise travellers.
Azamara will also be bolstered with new local sales resources and international support to connect Australian and New Zealand guests with the brand’s range of destination-focused land and sea experiences.
Gavin Smith said the changes would see the company’s three brands (Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara) grow their sales teams and strengthening trade relationships.

This will also offer trade more opportunities for store visits and sales support.
“We are excited about the year ahead for each brand.”

The next 12 months alone will see the arrival of Celebrity Apex, expansion of their 1,700 land programmes for Azamara, and the launch of Odyssey of the Seas for Royal Caribbean, bringing guests more great opportunities for memory-making at sea.
