Top 5 global events Americans are keen on traveling in 2019 – Love Home Swap survey

The number one most anticipated event in 2019 for Americans is Munich’s Oktoberfest. It was revealed by a survey by Love Home Swap, which is a travel company. About 34 per cent of survey respondents said that Munich’s Oktoberfest is what they most want to attend. Munich’s annual Oktoberfest attracts between six to seven million people each year. In 2019, Munich’s massive beer celebration will be held from Sept. 21 through Oct 6.

Super Bowl, is the second most popular event as per the survey. It will be held in Atlanta. About 26 percent of respondents are hoping to attend.

The South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami, Florida, takes the third position with 20 per cent respondents opting for it.

The Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) is a national, star-studded, five-day affair showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs, and culinary personalities. Now in its 18th year, there will be more than 100 events. The 2019 dates for the foodie event are February 20 through February 24.

About 85 per cent respondents considered cost as an issue when it comes to completing their travel.

Other two events that interest the Americans are Wimbledon (July 1 through July 14 in London England), and the annual SXSW music extravaganza for hipsters everywhere rounded out the top five most anticipated events of 2019. SXSW will take place in Austin, Texas, from March 8 to March 17.
