Madrid, Spain - In two weeks Madrid will launch FITUR IS MUSIC, a new cultural event that was created within the framework of FITUR FESTIVALS, a monographic section of the International Tourism Fair.
This is the first time that IFEMA-FITUR has its own musical production, thanks to two further organisers: Planet Events and Disorder, and with the media support by Radio 3 and Mondo Sonoro. It will be held on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 January, in Hall 1 at Feria de Madrid.
Focusing mainly on urban and alternative music, it is an egalitarian festival, with a logical artistic balance (nine artists or bands led by men and seven by women).
The show bill for the first day will focus on rap and trap artists, from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am, with NATOS Y WAOR, DENOM, CRUZ CAFUNÉ, THE ZOMBIE KIDS, ONE PATH, ALBANY and OJO ÚLTIMO. The second day, from 7:00 pm to 06:00 am, will offer an indie and electronic program with MANDO DIAO, MASTODONTE, DELAPORTE, MUEVELOREINA, CARIÑO, MIQUI BRIGHTSIDE, CHERIES DJS, VOLVER and GANGES. The headliners on both days (NATOS Y WAOR and MANDO DIAO) will offer complete concerts within the festival.
FITUR IS MUSIC will have a technical set-up worthy of consolidated festivals, suited to large indoor concert venues such as IFEMA. The area, 5,400 m2, will have a single stage measuring 18 metres wide and 14 metres deep, with over 80,000 watts of sound, 100 show lighting devices, over 100 m2 of LED screens and top-notch technical and human resources.
After several promotions for the first purchasers, tickets are set at an affordable price of €28 + processing fees, per day, and they can be purchased at www.entradas.com, Ticketmaster, Ticketea and Entradas a tu alcance. FITUR IS MUSIC is designed for the general public; pursuant to current legislation, minors under 16 may attend accompanied by a legal guardian. Tickets to the festival are separate from the tickets to the Tourism Fair.
