As Storm Diana touches base in Britain this week, there will be heavy rains, strong winds, gale and snow.

A major weather change is in the anvil. Storm Diana will sweep in from the south west, and soak the whole country from Tuesday.

There will be a widespread frost on Sunday and Monday nights and the temperatures will nose-dive.  The temperatures will turn milder once Storm Diana has hit. This will be followed by the storm and foggy conditions. The Meteorological Office has warned of stormy conditions following the cold weather as Storm Diana hits Britain.

As per BBC Weather forecaster Alina Jenkins, Tuesday will be marked with stormy start cross Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England.

Storm Diana will be the fourth named storm to batter the British Isles this autumn and winter.  Earlier Storms Ali, Bronagh and Callum had caused travel disruption in autumn in U.K.

As per the BBC Weather outlook for Tuesday to Thursday – the weather will turn more disturbed from Tuesday with a front moving in from the south-west bringing widespread rain to most of the south and west.

Travellers to and fro U.K. should plan their schedule accordingly so as not to get stuck in the current of storm Diana.
