
Ryanair has signed a collective labour agreement framework and social plan with Ver.di, the German cabin crew union.
This agreement confirms the application of German labour law to Ryanair’s cabin crew and delivers pay increases and other benefits for all cabin crew over the next two years.
The deal covers carrier’s German based cabin crew.
Ryanair’s Italian cabin crew has voted (88 per cent) in favour of the collective labour agreement signed recently between Ryanair and the three main cabin crew unions – FIT CISL, ANPAC, and ANPAV.
This deal covers all Ryanair’s cabin crew in Italy for the next three years.
Over the past week, Ryanair has also signed new recognition agreements with cabin crew unions in Greece (RACU) and Sweden (UNIONEN).
Ryanair will now work with these unions to sign labour agreements covering cabin crew in Greece and Sweden.
As per Eddie Wilson, Ryanair chief people officer, the agreement will lead to improvement of payment and other benefits for German based cabin crew.
