Three new beaches are being planned in Bahrain in order to boost tourism. One beach will be designed as per a beach in the south of France, while the second will reflect the culture of Miami Strip in the US and the third beach will be a replica of Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Bahrain is focusing on four As – accessibility, attractions, accommodation and awareness — for boosting the kingdom’s tourism sector towards further growth.
The CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA), said that the kingdom is no longer just a weekend destination and tourists are now staying longer in the country.
Bahrain is also aiming a massive airport expansion project for catering to the growing number of international visitors arriving to the kingdom.
Bahrain will also add special amenities to encourage water sport activities.
