In a bid to cope with the increasing market demand on budget travel from Bangladesh to the Middle East, SalamAir has increased the number of flights from four weekly flights to six flights weekly.

The increase in frequency will allow passengers from Bangladesh to conveniently connect to key destinations in the region, including Jeddah, Dubai, Doha, Shiraz, and Salalah.

Captain Mohammed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir said, “There are about 700,000 Bangladeshis in the Sultanate. We hope that the two additional flights will provide SalamAir passengers with more destinations in the region.”

SalamAir operates flights to 14 destinations, namely Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Dubai, Jeddah, Doha, Karachi, Multan, Sialkot, Shiraz, Najaf, Kathmandu, Khartoum and Dhaka.

The increase follows the airline’s recent successful service launch, between Dhaka and Muscat, reaching an average load factor of 95% on flights.
