Transporting some of those aircraft by ground to the convention center requires a team of 50 people, multi-agency coordination, some road sign removal and re-installation and traffic containment for the move during the overnight hours along Tradeport Drive and Sand Lake Road.
“We continue to select Orlando to host the event on a bi-annual basis based on a number of criteria,” says Joe Hart, NBAA Director of Static Displays. “Orlando offers abundant hotel space, a world-class convention center and a large, close proximity, general aviation airport capable of supporting over 100 large and small aircraft while maintaining normal operations.”
