The number of passengers who flew to or from Swedavia’s ten airports in August 2018 was 3,869,000, which is a 1 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. International passenger volume was up 2 per cent to 2,782,000 while domestic volume was down 1 per cent to 1,088,000.
August also showed an increase in passenger numbers at Swedavia’s airports. At Stockholm Arlanda Airport, the number of passengers increased 1 per cent to 2,530,000. Volume was unchanged at Göteborg Landvetter Airport, which had 638,000 passengers.
At Swedavia’s other airports, relatively small changes in passenger volume were noted, with the exception of international passenger volume at Malmö Airport, which was up 12 per cent to 107,000.
