Belfast is all prepared to host a major international business tourism forum from 21-24 this month.
Held last year in New Orleans, the Hosts Global Forum will bring over 100 of the world’s leading destination management companies and 100 of the world’s leading meeting and incentives buyers and planners to Belfast. This would be the first time that the Hosts Global Forum would be held outside of North America.
This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for all Hosts Global member DMCs to assemble and discuss industry trends, relevant topics, collaborative solutions and take part in a series of networking sales appointments.
To quote John McGrillen, Tourism NI chief executive, “This is a fantastic win for tourism in Northern Ireland. Over 200 attendees with significant collective buying power will visit Belfast for the forum, and experience first-hand through a tailored familiarization programme why Northern Ireland is a destination with global appeal for incentive business. Buyers in attendance account for approximately $2 billion in business revenue all over the world. Many of the most significant US based incentive houses will be present during the Belfast forum and the associated benefits of Hosts Global will be felt across the economy for years to come.”
It would be a three-day event involving Hosts Global, Tourism NI, Hastings Hotels, Moloney & Kelly, and a range of Northern Ireland tourism business.
