Sunrise Airways accepts delivery of new Boeing 737 at Orlando International Airport

Sunrise Airways recently accepted delivery of the latest addition to its fleet, a next generation 168-seat Boeing 737-800, at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The jet aircraft will deploy along new Sunrise Airways routes to Orlando and Miami from the airline’s hub in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Sunrise Airways’ new service to/from Orlando begins October 18, 2017, while its Miami flights launch November 14, 2017.

The new Sunrise Airways Boeing 737 features two classes of service – business and economy – with maximum seating for 168 passengers; 18 in business class, 150 in economy with all-leather seating throughout.

Sky Express announcement about new Board of Directors.

Sky Express announces the appointment of Mr. Harry Botsaris as CEO of the company and Mr. Michalis Neromyliotis as Accountable Manager. The new composition of the Board of Directors of Sky Express, as emerged at today's General Assembly of Shareholders', is as follows:

The new Board of Directors, will focus on monitoring andorganizing the flight operations, developing new services and will enhance collaborations in order to further strengthen the position of Sky Express in the aviation market.

SWISS carries more passengers in the first nine months of 2017

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS)1 transported 12,856,515 passengers in the first nine months of 2017, a 2.9% increase on the same period last year. The higher passenger volume was achieved while performing fewer flights: the 106,323 services operated were a 4.3% reduction on the prior-year period. Systemwide capacity for the first nine months, measured in available seat-kilometres (ASK), was raised 3.0% year-on-year, while nine-month traffic volume, measured in revenue passenger-kilometres (RPK), was up 5.1%. Systemwide seat load factor for the first nine months improved accordingly, rising 1.7 percentage points to 83.0%.

SWISS carried 1,513,067 passengers in September 2017, some 0.2% more than in the same month last year. The 12,014 flights operated in the period were a 5.6% decline. Systemwide ASK capacity for September was reduced by 0.8%, while RPK traffic volume for the month was 0.8% above its prior-year level. Systemwide September seat load factor stood at 84.7%, an improvement of 1.3 percentage points.

ETIHAD AIRWAYS TO LAUNCH FLIGHTS TO AZERBAIJAN

Etihad Airways has announced plans to launch scheduled flights between Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, and Baku, the capital city of the Republic of Azerbaijan, effective 2 March 2018.

The new route is being introduced to capitalise on the strong and growing demand for flights between the United Arab Emirates and Azerbaijan. The service will be operated three times a week using a 136-seat Airbus A320, configured with 16 seats in Business Class and 120 in Economy.

Executive Chef Adam Smith of Restaurant Coworth Park has been awarded a Michelin Star by The Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland, 2018

Adam is considered one of the UK’s most talented chefs, described as ‘one to watch’ by chef Michel Roux senior. In 2012 he was awarded Observer Food Monthly Young Chef of the Year and won the Roux Scholarship, and as part of this prize was given the opportunity to work under chef Yannick Alleno at Le Meurice, Paris, part of Dorchester Collection. In 2015 Adam was made Craft Guild of Chefs Restaurant Chef of the Year.

Adam, at Restaurant Coworth Park, offers a modern presentation of classic British flavor combinations and a commitment to quality ingredients and depth of flavor. This Michelin-star recognition follows an award of 3 AA Rosettes for the restaurant at the AA Awards last week.
