Rowing teams of Greece, Turkey, and Romania collect most of the medals at the Balkan Rowing Championship held in Istanbul last weekend. Organized in collaboration with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and Turkish Rowing Federation (TRF), the Balkan Rowing Championship (BRC) attracted national teams of Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, FYROM, Serbia, and Romania.
The championship is held in Haliç (Golden Horn) between September 9 and 10, 2017. For the event Haliç (Golden Horn) closed to the ship traffic. Greece is first in the competition with 96 points, while Turkey is the second with 76 points and Romania is the third with 71 points.
