In November 2015, Delta began selling Delta Comfort+ as a fare for travel in the U.S. and Canada. Now, Delta is expanding Delta Comfort+ fares to more markets, making it easier to shop and buy Delta's menu of products.
With this expansion, Delta will now offer Delta Comfort + as a fare to all destinations in the Asia-Pacific and Latin America/Caribbean regions, as well as the U.S. and Canada.
Effective May 20, Delta will begin selling Delta Comfort+ as a fare for flights departing September 20, 2017, and beyond in the following travel regions:
- Between the U.S. and Canada and Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Chile
- Between the U.S. and Canada and China and Hong Kong
- Within the Asia-Pacific region, now including China
- Between Asia-Pacific region markets, and Latin America / Caribbean markets, now including China, Hong Kong, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Chile
Delta introduced Delta Comfort+ as the airline’s industry-leading extra legroom product experience that offers Sky Priority boarding with dedicated overhead bin space, and complimentary premium beverages and snacks on flights over 250 miles. Delta Comfort+ customers on long-haul international flights are also treated to sleep kits.
Delta Comfort+ is most easily purchased when shopping via delta.com, the FlyDelta mobile app, or with a Delta Reservations Specialist.
This enhancement is part of the airline’s multi-billion dollar investment in the customer experience that includes a cabin modernization program featuring new seats, seatback entertainment systems with free entertainment, high-capacity overhead bins, access to Wi-Fi on nearly all flights, free Main Cabin meals on select flights, upgraded free Main Cabin snacks, chef-curated meals in Delta One, a seasonal wine program, an Alessi-designed collection of serviceware in Delta One and First Class, and more.
