The theme also reflects the hotel’s location and Park Inn’s new community-based approach to hospitality. From Magellan to Vasco de Gama, every meeting room is named after famous explorers and every guest room decorated with earth tones to inspire a sense of discovery. “We’re creating a social space that lets guests interact. We love the idea of guests getting to know each other over a drink or a television program – it’s a vibrant and colorful image that we plan to make a reality.” Tineke continues, “If there’s one difference with the sharing economy, it’s the role of being a real community hub — a place where strangers can really gather together,” said Park Inn by Radisson at Brussels Airport will be the first hotel in Belgium with a live-inn room concept. Tineke de Wit, General Manager of Park Inn by Radisson Brussels Airport.
In the same spirit of creating a community, the hotel will open the RBG, a trendy grill restaurant and bar with a terrace for guests and locals alike. “There aren’t a lot of cozy places to eat for people that work around the airport. We want to offer them a lunch break full of sophisticated and tasty experiences”, says Tineke. Hotel guests looking for something lighter can easily grab a snack from the 24-hour Hungry Kiosk: it is just like taking a snack out of the fridge or using the microwave at home.
The hotel also offers nine stylish meeting rooms equipped with the latest audio-visual technology and plenty of natural lighting. Park Inn by Radisson hopes to attract businesses around the airport as well as Brussels startups, making the hotel a hub for those exploring the future of technology and business.
The hotel is also environmentally friendly, by having solar panels on the roof, the hotel will conserve energy, and LED lighting will be used throughout the hotel. Park Inn by Radisson has prioritized this down to the smallest details: even the toilets will reuse rainwater to reduce water wastage. Finally, there will be a green rooftop at the entrance of Park Inn by Radisson Brussels Airport. Click to see and book hotels near Brussels Airport.
