Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) in January adds MeltSpa by Hershey day spa to its portfolio. Anticipated to open fall 2017, MeltSpa by Hershey will be located in the heart of downtown Hershey, Pa. at 11 E Chocolate Ave., featuring exclusive dark chocolate treatments.

The new day spa will offer a unique experience to the downtown area while bringing more jobs to Hershey.”

MeltSpa by Hershey will feature 9 treatment rooms, locker rooms and a relaxation area. Refreshments including hot cocoa, coffee, tea, water, fresh fruit and trail mix will be available for guests to enjoy. The prefect escape for a quick luxury or a day of decadence, MeltSpa by Hershey will embrace a modern design with rich brown hues and chic details. Reservations for September appointments are anticipated to be available in late July.
The facility will measure approximately 7,400 square feet. MeltSpa by Hershey is partnering with Earl Swensson Associates, Inc. (Nashville, Tenn.), Laura Walker Spa Solutions (Ivoryton, Conn.), HB McClure Company (Harrisburg, Pa.), SECCO, Inc. (Camp Hill, Pa.) and Weidner Construction Services (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) on this project. The estimated cost for the project is $2 million.
