By the year 2020, more than $290 billion is expected to be invested by the Chinese government behind tourism to attract maximum private investment into the same as confirmed by the Chinese state planner on Wednesday.
Officials consider that Chinese tourism infrastructure is in dire need of improvement. Few key tourism projects and proactively guide social capital are lined up to invested in Chinese tourism sector as assured by the National Development and Reform Commission or NDRC.
China aims to purchase 7 trillion Yuan tourism services by the year 2020 with more than 10 percent annual growth of economy. It would create job opportunities to more than 50 million Chinese which is tantamount to 10 percent of total employment. This way the country aims to counteract its weak global demand for exports by strengthening its services industry.
