AMMAN - Royal Jordanian honored its best-selling Jordanian travel agents for 2016 at a ceremony held under the sponsorship of Vienna Airport.

Captain Obeidat expressed RJ’s appreciation for travel agents’ efforts and their support to the national carrier of Jordan. He said they work hard to increase sales aboard RJ and that the airline is always ready to develop business ties with its partners, in the interest of all parties, and to give a boost to the local tourism and travel industry.
He added that Royal Jordanian constantly improves its air and ground services while modernizing its fleet of aircraft and expands its route network for a better competitive edge.
The airline recently introduced a sixth new Boeing 787 to the fleet, according to the plan of renewing the long- and medium-haul aircraft, to meet the needs of passengers eager to fly on board this state-of-the-art airplane.
Obeidat also expressed gratitude for the cooperation extended to Royal Jordanian by Vienna Airport in sponsoring this event, highlighting the distinguished business relations between the two companies, which make the travel experience of passengers more convenient.
The captain welcomed a number of Austrian travel agents who attended the ceremony. RJ has been flying to Vienna for 40 years now.
Hamdan expressed the travel agents’ appreciation for RJ's efforts to expand relationships with the travel agents, a move that contributes to improving the Jordanian tourism industry and motivates sales agents to sell more on Royal Jordanian, the national carrier of Jordan.
At the end of the ceremony, Captain Obeidat delivered certificates of appreciation to the sales agents in recognition of their marketing efforts exerted during 2016.
In order to boost tourism from Austria and attract more groups to the country, Royal Jordanian’s office in Vienna organized a familiarization trip for Austrian travel agents that included tours of the most notable sites in Jordan.
