NEW YORK—Luma Hotel Times Square is set to open its doors this fall.
Located on 41st St. between Broadway and Avenue of the Americas, the property is situated near Fortune 500 companies, developing tech firms, international fashion houses and numerous attractions.
Designed by New York architect Peter Poon, Luma's sleek all-glass curtain wall facade illuminates the space between two classic pre-war buildings. The property will feature 130 guestrooms and suites, with floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light and views of Manhattan. Luma's rooms were designed to be sleek, neutral and soothing. Every guestroom will have its own hot spot to deliver fast complimentary WiFi. In-room amenities include a Nespresso coffee maker, ETRO bath supplies and Frette linens, bathrobes and slippers.
The ground-floor lobby is designed by CCS Architecture and draws inspiration from the ethos of illumination, according to the company.
James Beard Award-winning Chef Jose Garces will introduce Ortiz, a Basque-inspired tapas street-level restaurant and bar.
