Residents and travelers in Washington D.C. have the chance to taste and experience Turkish culinary dishes and culture which are renowned for its diversity of resources, fresh ingredients and variety of recipes that were influenced by Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa during the Turkish Restaurant Week that kicks off today, September 9.
Organized by The American-Turkish Association of Washington DC (ATA-DC), the Eighth Annual Turkish Restaurant Week is a week-long celebration of Turkish cuisine. The event will take place from Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 18, 2016 during the Fifth Turkish Heritage Month.
During Turkish Restaurant Week, diners will enjoy this rich and authentic cuisine with a special three-course prix fixe lunch ($25) and four-course prix fixe dinner ($35) at Washington’s top Turkish restaurants in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The most outstanding Turkish restaurants will offer their culinary arts and specialties for#foodies in the D/M/V area.
