Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, has celebrated the first anniversary of its exclusive Premium Lounge at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport.
The lounge has proven hugely popular with air travellers since it was opened on 9 September 2015, welcoming more than 23,000 premium guests during its first twelve months of operation.
Over 5,500 à la carte meals were served at the Premium Lounge during that time, the most popular of which were traditional Serbian dishes including ćevapi and mućkalica.
On the beverage side, Air Serbia has served guests more than 150 bottles of domestically-produced rakija from Rakia Bar, 700 bottles of wine, including a selection from the famous local Radovanović winery, approximately 21,000 bottles of Voda Voda Serbian water, beer from Jelen, as well as cappuccinos, espressos and other coffee drinks from Serbia’s home-grown coffee house, Kafeteria.

“In addition, the lounge is a great hit with passengers flying on our New York service, who can relax with a newspaper and coffee, freshen up in the showers or enjoy a meal before their transatlantic flight or afterwards if they are transferring onwards.
