Tourism is the lifeblood of the Nepalese economy, but since the earthquake in 2015 that cost 8,000 lives and left many thousands more homeless, visitors have stayed away. In order to boost travel The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and a delegation of Nepalese tour operators are hosting the 2016 Nepal Summit in five US cities, kicking off in Denver, June 20.
US tour operators, travel agents and media will attend the Summit to learn more about tourism to Nepal, specifically geared for the US outbound travel market.

Travel professionals and media attending the 2016 Summit will meet with the Nepal Minister of Tourism, key Nepal Tourism Board executives and leading inbound Nepalese tour operators to learn more about Nepal and industry FAM trips.
