AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa has appointed their new General Manager. Stephane Vilar has been elevated to the post.
After the appointment, Vilar paid a courtesy call on Alain St. Ange, Seychelles Tourism and Culture Minister. Anne Lafortune, PS for Tourism, was also present at the meeting between Stephane Vilar and Minister Alain St.Ange.
They discussed cooperation between the resort and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture and also coordinated efforts with the Tourism Board in the marketing of Seychelles.
The CEO of the Tourism Board, Sherin Naiken, and Mr. Vilar will be holding a further meeting next week.
Notably, Seychelles is a founding member of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP)
