OAKLAND, CA—Arbor Lodging Partners, through an affiliate, has acquired the Hilton Garden Inn Oakland/San Leandro in San Leandro, CA. NVN Hotels will manage the 119-room select-service hotel
.
The acquisition marks Arbor's entry into the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the highest-demand lodging markets in the country, according to the company. The hotel close to the Oakland International Airport and just off Highway 880/238.

Property features include a 1,300-sq.-ft. meeting space that holds up to 100 people, an indoor pool, whirlpool and fitness center, as well as the Garden Grille & Bar restaurant. Arbor Lodging Partners has plans to further invest in the hotel with more than $4 million in updates to the property, according to the company.
JLL's Hotels and Hospitality Group played an integral role in the transaction, with a team led by SVP Mark Fraioli and VP Melvin Chu.
