After the successful first edition of the “International Biarritz Golf Trophy by Hôtel du Palais & Guerlain”, the Hotel du Palais and Guerlain (exclusive partner of the Imperial Spa) are once more organising this exceptional competition dedicated to amateur golfers, from September 30 to October 2, 2016, on the sumptuous Chiberta and Biarritz Le Phare courses. This year again, the tournament will be sponsored by a world class player: after Grégory Bourdy in 2015, this year the European Tour professional and winner of the Italian Open in 2013, Julien Quesne, has agreed to join us. To add a lavish touch to this sporting escapade, the hotel has put together an exclusive golfers package including a Stableford competition entry fee on the Chiberta and Biarritz Le Phare courses, accommodations in a double room with half board, including drinks, a Basque evening in a typical restaurant on September 30th, the Gala dinner on October 1st at the heart of the Hotel du Palais, cocktails on October 1st and 2nd, and, to conclude the event, the prize-giving ceremony endowed by Guerlain.
In addition to this exceptional tournament, the Hotel du Palais is a partner of the 117th annual “Biarritz Cup” for the 12th consecutive year. Organised from July 10 to 17 by the Biarritz Le Phare golf course, it is the largest and oldest French tournament reserved for amateur golfers. The Hotel du Palais will welcome visitors at its stand in the partner village of this event that draws over 500 players from far and wide, and some 5000 spectators! The hotel also sponsors 3 other prestigious competitions: the Chiberta Grand Prix from July 6 to 10, the Trophée Hôtel du Palais at the Biarritz le Phare course on August 3rd and the Trophée Hôtel du Palais at the Chiberta course on August 10.
Also, every Sunday morning, guests can hone their technique on the hotel’s wedging & putting green during training sessions with a golf instructor, and participate in the “Long Putting Contest” sponsored by the prestigious brand Titleist.
