The Independent Lodging Congress, the yearly hospitality conference for thought leaders in the independent hotel space, announces its fourth annual Congress, taking place from October 26-28, 2016, atThe High Line Hotel in New York City.
This year’s event will recognize Chip Conley, Head of Global Hospitality & Strategy at Airbnb, for the 2016 “Start Something” Award presented by Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The Independent Lodging Congress is a two-and-a-half-day event featuring an extensive roster of innovators in hospitality and beyond. Currently the Head of Global Hospitality & Strategy at Airbnb, Conley is also the founder and former CEO of Joie de Vivre and a New York Times bestselling author for his book, “EMOTIONAL EQUATIONS: Simple Truths for Creating Happiness + Success.” Past award winners include Niki Leondakis of Commune Hotels & Resorts and Bunkhouse Group’s Liz Lambert.
