Newly opened O’Learys
sports themed diner guarantees fun for all the family with amazing food, televised
sports, indoor karting, Laser tag and the fastest service in town
There’s now
an exciting new destination for families in the UAE thanks to the
Boston-inspired O’Learys Sports Restaurant, which
opened in Fujairah Mall in January.
The
163-cover restaurant, managed by TIME Hotels, is linked to Kart & Shoot, an
indoor karting and laser tag arena covering some 2,240-square metres. Kids, as
well as mums and dads, will dash to the starting grid to work up an appetite
with some rapid laps of the go-kart track, which is suitable for children aged
nine and above and starts from just AED 80.
After
taking the chequered flag, the menu at O’Learys has something to suit all
tastes, from classic burgers and signature buffalo wings to cheesy quesadillas,
ribs, nachos and desserts complemented by an extensive collection of mocktails
and other soft beverages. Those looking for a caffeine fix will also enjoy the
extensive coffee menu prepared by O’Leary’s very own baristas, offering the
fastest brew in the East!
What’s
more kids have their own menu to choose from with popular dishes including the Green Monster Burger and Larry B’s
Chicken Burger in pole position. For the
ultimate baby, back seat drivers, puzzles and crayons are in plentiful supply
as they watch the waiter coming down the home straight with a sumptuous plate
of wholesome food.
After dessert, spare some time for a
quick game of Laser tag. If you’re not familiar with it, think of it as paint
balling without the paint, but using lasers instead. Combatants score points by
firing their laser guns at their opponents’ vests which are fitted with
strategically placed sensors which record a hit.
“O’learys is a great family venue,
ideal for the young and the young at heart. If you just want to kick back and
relax, there’s a multitude of TV screens showing US and international sports
galore. For the kids and those ‘really big’ kids, there’s go-karting. Laser tag
and of course, a menu of honest to goodness dishes that every ‘starving’ kid
just adores,” said Mohammad Awadalla, CEO, TIME Hotels.
Customers
can look forward to daily deals including two for one discounts, ‘Family
Fridays’ with kids under six eating for free, as well as special offers for
diners who have purchased cinema/karting tickets. The venue is open seven days
a week, from 10am to 12 midnight.
O’Learys
Sports Restaurant is the
latest addition to UAE based TIME Hotels’ rapidly growing hospitality
portfolio and marks its first independent retail product. It brings the current
tally of O’Learys restaurants to 100 outlets in ten countries across Asia,
Europe and now the Middle East, generating a 2014 global turnover of €163 million.
