Honorees in Hospitality Advertising, Digital Marketing, Public Relations to be Spotlighted at Adrian Awards Gala


The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is pleased to announce the Gold Winners of the 2015 Adrian Awards. This pinnacle event recognizes inspiring best practices in advertising, digital marketing, and public relations for the hospitality industry. HSMAI will announce the Platinum and Best of Show winners at this black-tie annual event on February 16, at the New York Marriott Marquis.

After receiving more than 1,300 entries, HSMAI will present Gold Awards to one of the largest groups of winners in the Awards’ history, including 70 awards in Advertising, 122 in Digital Marketing and 139 in Public Relations. Judges of this year’s competition noted the prevalence of integrated campaigns with shareable and highly engaging social, digital components. More than 200 subject-matter experts in advertising, digital marketing, media and public relations disciplines, along with prominent members of the travel industry, served as judges.

“Our judges were highly impressed by many of this year’s entrants and made special note of the overall trend of fully integrated campaigns and user generated content that span across multiple channels,” said Fran Brasseux, executive vice president of HSMAI.”

At the Adrian Awards Dinner Reception, co-sponsored by HSMAI, Booking.com, Google, and TravelClick, Gold winners’ submissions will be shown on digital displays and featured throughout the Gala stage presentations, including in “Trend Spotting” presentations on “Consumers as Publishers” where marketers are positioning themselves as curators of this consumer-created content, and “Experiential Marketing” with examples ranging from an augmented reality app to a mobile museum.

Winners of the Gold Adrian Awards are now considered for Platinum Adrian Awards and the “Best of Show” Awards, the Adrian Awards’ highest honor. Both Awards will be announced on the same evening.

HSMAI’s Adrian Awards Reception and Gala offers professionals from the hospitality industry an opportunity to connect for an evening of celebration with more than 1,000 attendees from their industry. The Adrian Awards celebrate lifetime achievement recipients; award-winning strategies in advertising, digital marketing and public relations; and the teams behind each campaign that bring an idea to life.
