“The Hampton Inn in New Iberia is very close to one of the state’s leading tourist destinations, Avery Island, home of the fabled McIlhenny Co.’s Tabasco Sauce,” she commented. “The new Baton Rouge property is located within minutes of both the LSU campus and the state capitol complex.”
DeGeorge said the Hampton Inn New Iberia offers 4,500 SF of meeting and social event space, she added.
The addition of these two properties brings to 11 the total number of hotels currently under Expotel Hospitality management, seven of which are located in the south Louisiana region, including New Orleans. The company plans to add an additional three new Louisiana properties to its portfolio in 2016, DeGeorge said.
