The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau launches its eighth annual Miami Spa Month affording visitors and residents special deals at 35 area premiere participating spas. The popular summer promotion runs from July 1 through August 31 providing spa fans with ample time to enjoy treatments at some of the area’s world-renowned luxury spas. Those booking treatments will save up to 50 percent on deep tissue massages, exfoliating body polishes, hydrating facials and more. Normally valued at $199 or more, Miami Spa Month treatments will be available at two price points: $99 and $129.
A dedicated website – www.MiamiSpaMonth – serves as an easy to search resource providing information on spa offerings by location, treatment type and even special Miami Spa Month hotel packages. Treatment costs do not include tax and gratuity and reservations are required.
Spicing Things Up
This summer the savings are twice as enticing as Miami Spa Month overlaps with Miami Spice Restaurant Month in August. Miami Spice Month runs from August 1 through September 30 offering foodies savings at more than 165 restaurants throughout the destination. Participating restaurants will offer three-course meals at lunch for $23 and dinner for $39.
“The popularity of Miami Spa Month is well earned. Our partners at each participating spa revel in the opportunity to pamper each guest with their own signature treatments,” said GMCVB President and CEO William D. Talbert, III, CDME. “Overlapping with Miami Spice Month brings visitors and residents an even greater value. Our chefs showcase their creativity in the dishes they feature on these special menus. This period showcases the real revolution our culinary scene has gone through. Our spas and restaurants are some of the best in the world and it has been part of the overall boom we’ve seen. Our record breaking tourism numbers have translated to higher quality amenities, services and infrastructures across every aspect of our destination – it’s an exciting time to be in Miami.”
