Thailand’s leading hotel chain Centara Hotels & Resorts announced its latest Chinese venture. After the recent signing of a management contract with the Zhaoqing Yuhao Properties Development Co., Ltd, Centara will soon open a new four-star property in China.
The new Centara property in China is Centara Resort Zhaoqing which will be located in Zhaoqing City in Guangdong Province. The resort will be close to some of China’s most bustling areas, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau, making Zhaoqing a convenient travel hub for visitors to Southeastern China.
The four-star resort will have 250 rooms in total, and guests will enjoy a stimulating resort-style hotel experience, with facilities including a water park complete with swimming pools and pool bar, three dining venues, a fitness centre and a Spa Cenvaree, plus generous Kid’s Club and meeting facilities including an 800-square-metre ballroom.
Zhaoqing is a historically-significant tourist destination, enjoying a temperate climate throughout the year. The scenic environs of this cradle of Cantonese civilisation is home to a host of mountainous wonders, such as Qixingyan (Seven Star Crags), Dinghu Mountain, Xiannv Lake (Fairy Lake), Butterfly Valley and Qingyun Temple, and is justly regarded as one of Guangdong Province’s most famous tourist attractions.
Centara Resort Zhaoqing is scheduled to be opened during the fourth quarter of 2017.
