The number of tourists visiting Antalya in the first two months of 2015 is less than same period last year. There is a 2.9% drop in the arrivals compare to last year. Although the number of German tourists visiting Antalya increases, drops in both Russian and British tourists accounted a drop in the total number of visitors to the Mediterranean city. A total of 234 thousand international visitors are hosted in Antalya during the first two months of 2015. Last year, 241 thousand visited the city.
The number of German tourists increased 16.3% from 104 thousand to 121 thousand.
Russian visitation drops 41% from 36 thousand to 21 thousand.
In the same period, the Netherlands market grows 7.8%, while British market drops 17%.
Other markets that show growth are: Belgium 16%, Finland 180%, Switzerland 20%, Poland 117%, Italy 121%.
In contrary, the dropping markets are: Denmark -51%, Austria -13%, Sweden -30%, Israel -35%, Ukraine -25%, France -70%.
