The upward trend in Istanbul's travel and tourism industry continues in the first two months of 2015. Istanbul got off to a strong start for 2015 that achieved 8.8 percent increase in the number of tourists visiting the city in January 2015 compare to January 2014, continues the growth in February 2015. Istanbul Culture and Tourism Directorate announced 5.2 percent increase in the number of tourists visiting the city in February 2015 compare to February 2014.
