As a founding partner, TreadRight, with affiliate organization Adventure World, is proud to help recognize the efforts being carried out by the National Geographic World Legacy Awards finalists.
The 15 finalists announced at ITB Singapore were selected from more than 150 World Legacy Awards entries, representing 56 countries and six continents.
Their work is a testament to the positive momentum created by forward-looking travel and tourism organizations and representative of the ideals fundamental to TreadRight’s sustainable tourism commitment.

Based on the three pillars of sustainable tourism, including environmentally friendly operations, protection of natural and cultural heritage, and support for the well-being of local communities, the five World Legacy Award categories are: Earth Changers, Sense of Place, Conserving the Natural World, Engaging Communities, and Destination Leadership.
