New visitor guide leaves no stone unturned on the Sunshine Coast

From secret camping spots to world-class golf courses, the 2014 Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL) Official Visitor Guide leaves no stone unturned when it comes to tourism offerings in the region.

SCDL is distributing 100,000 copies of the 88-page publication through Sunshine Coast Visitor Information Centres as well as travel and trade outlets around the country.

The new publication offers a lot more than just sightseeing suggestions according to SCDL
CEO, Simon Ambrose.

“People want to immerse themselves in an experience when they go on holidays, which is why our latest guide features a range of inspiring itineraries from adrenalin adventures to family fun in the sun. We’ve truly catered for all corners of the market,” Mr Ambrose said.

The guide features a pull-out map of the region, as well as QR codes throughout so that people with smart devices can access online resources such as YouTube videos, event calendars and SCDL ‘experience trails’ information.

Along with the Official Visitor Guide, SCDL has also launched a 15-page weddings and romance brochure titled Natural Spaces to say ‘I do’.

“With our great weather, the Sunshine Coast is a favourable location to have an outdoor wedding. This new guide lists ten natural settings to say ‘I do’ – from Noosa in the north, Montville in the Hinterland and Caloundra in the south,” Mr Ambrose said.

The wedding guide features maps, sunset and sunrise times, car parking information, reception venue suggestions – as well as a comprehensive list of wedding suppliers, services and accommodation in the region.
